Illusions of ignorance!

Two of Sakuni's brothers, Vrsaka & Acala, rushed at Arjun piercing him with arrows. Arjun turned to meet his assailants & after killing Vrsaka's horses, he slaughtered 500 of the supporting Gandhara soldiers. Vrsaka got onto his brother's chariot & the two continued showering arrows at Arjun. Infuriated, Arjun performed an exceedingly amazing feat by killing both brothers with a single arrow

When they saw this, Dhartarashtras rushed at Arjun, hoping to retaliate, while Sakuni, who had become mad with rage due to death of his brothers, employed a mystic power to create fearful illusions. Innumerable clubs, spears, swords, arrows & other weapons began falling upon Arjun as swarms of crows & fierce Raksasas hungrily rushed towards him as if to devour him with gaping mouths

Arjun employed celestial arrows to attack the ferocious Raksasas so that they soon fell mortally wounded to ground screaming painfully. After this dense darkness shrouded the battlefield. In the terrible gloom, harsh voices were heard rebuking Arjun

Arjun quickly employed a Jyotiska weapon, dispelling darkness, but next moment there appeared a very frightening waves of water threatning to flood everything. Arjun dried up the water with an Aditya weapon. In this way whatever illusions Sakuni created, it was laughingly destroyed by Arjun. Finally, when Sakuni became overwhelmed by onslaught of Arjun's arrows, the son of Subala fearfully fled from battlefield

Once again Drona mounted a massive attack on Pandava army with hope to capture Yudhisthira. All leading Kuru heroes fought against Bhima, Yudhisthira & their allies. With rage, Drona created a great slaughter but then Arjun came to the scene after massacring samsaptakas

As Arjun proceeded, Karna rushed at him & the two great heroes fought. Bhima, Dhristadyumna & Satyaki came to assist Arjun. As they released streams of arrows, while Karna defended himself, Arjun killed 3 of his brothers. Satyaki broke Karna's bow & pierced him in the chest

Duryodhana, Drona & Jayadratha rushed at Satyaki but since the sun had set, both armies gradually withdrew. Night of gloom pervaded in the Kaurava camp as Drona had failed to fulfill his vow of capturing Yudhisthira & Arjun had severely routed their warriors

When our skills, which anyways are given by the Supreme Lord himself, are used in His service & to uphold Dharma, all illusions of ignorance are dispelled & Triumph is round the corner

Krsna says:

balam balavatam caham kama-raga-vivarjitam

I am the strength of the strong, devoid of passion and desire

sarvasya caham hrdi sannivisto mattah smrtir jnanam apohanam ca

I am seated in everyone's heart, and from Me come remembrance, knowledge and forgetfulness

So infact we are just instruments to serve his directives. If we use our free will to follow our own mentally concoted agendas, misaligned to that of Sri Krsna, we will be bewildered and lost
