Are we dragged? Seeing Arjun’s wonderful feats, the crowd roared in delight. The roar died down by thunderous sound made by slapping of arms heard at stadium gate. When startled spectators turned their heads, they saw an unknown person appearing as splendorous as Sun. Adorned with natural armor, dazzling with celestial earrings & carrying a bow Karna entered the arena After bowing his head indifferently to offer respects to Drona & Krpa, Karna approached Arjun & declared-I shall now excel in all feats that you performed. Stand here & witness my unmatched prowess Hearing this, the crowd stirred with excitement & stood up in great expectation. Duryodhana was especially delighted to see that someone has finally challenged Arjun. As he stood there, Arjun was dumbfounded, embarrassed & angry. Karna took permission from Drona & proceeded to duplicate all feats done by Arjun & indeed performed many wonderful feats that excelled Arjun’s performance. At the end

Discontent! Once Dronācharya took his disciples to Gangā to bathe. As Drona was within water, an alligator suddenly came & forcibly seized him by the thigh. Even though he was quite capable to free himself from its grip, Drona anxiously called for help. As all stood dumbfounded, Arjun hurriedly killed the alligator with 5 arrows Because of Arjun’s skill & alertness, Dronācharya as reward gave him the use of Brahmāstra along with ability to retract it, but warned not to invoke this weapon against a weaker enemy such as an ordinary human being, as such a rash act will lead to destruction of entire universe As training was completed, Drona went to Dhritrāshtra & said-Now that the education of your sons & their cousins is complete, I’d like to hold an exhibition to demonstrate their acquired skills. Vidura made necessary arrangements & when the day of tournament arrived, all members of Kuru dynasty assembled together with the citizens. A huge sea of people witnessed s

Focus🎯 Dronācharya taught all Kuru princes to the best of his abilities. Bhima & Duryodhana became expert in wielding mace & they were envious of one another. Nakul & Sahadev were highly skilled in sword, Yudhisthira a superlative chariot warrior & Asvattāma in accomplished use of various weapons, but it was Arjun who outshone everybody else. He was an Atirathi (one who is capable of simultaneously fighting 60000 ordinary warriors) & thus his fame soon spread around the world However, when wicked sons of Dhritrāshtra witnessed incomparable strength of Bhima & unrivaled expertise of Arjun, their hearts became more & more inflamed with jealousy When Dronācharya had almost completed their training, he assembled all his students to test their comparative proficiency. He placed an artificial bird at the top of a tall tree & ordered his pupils one after another to cut off his head. Yudhisthira was first & as he picked up his bow & arrow, Drona asked

Character! One prince who came to Dronā to become his disciple was Eklavya, son of Nishāda tribe king Hiranyadhanus. Aware of moral principles, Drona refused to accept him fearing that he would use his weaponry skills for wrong purpose. Nishāda's were known to be engaged in anti-social activities, creating trouble for law-abiding citizens & administration. They were hence allocated their space to live in forest but were still creating troubles. So, when Eklavya came to be admitted in gurukul, Drona said-No! I’ve been given shelter by Kuru kings & I can’t teach anyone working against them   After touching Dronā's feet, Eklavya returned home, his head bent with shame & disappointment but still undeterred. He made a clay statue of Drona & while worshipping him as his guru, began practicing with his bow in front. Because of his exceptional devotion to his guru combined with incessant practice, he very quickly mastered art of shooting arrows   One day Kuru princes
