Bravery! As Abhimanyu entered “Chakravyuh” formation, a fierce battle followed. He suddenly penetrated enemy ranks & so all Kaurava warriors joyfully surrounded him & released showers of arrows. Abhimanyu blazed up like fire & began consuming Kaurava soldiers as if they were heaps of dry grass. Ranging throughout enemy ranks, he caused entire battlefield to become strewn with innumerable severed limbs & heads, piles of smashed armour, weapons & countless broken chariots While witnessing Abhimanyu’s superhuman prowess, hair of all Kaurava soldiers stood on end & in panic they began fleeing. Duryodhana couldn't tolerate this & so he angrily rushed to check Abhimanyu. Drona ordered all his leading chariot warriors to assist Kaurava king & thus Abhimanyu was soon surrounded.   Haste makes waste! As 13th day of the war started, Duryodhana went to Drona, being very angry & depressed because of Pāndava’s previous day’s successes & said: O Preceptor! Illusions of ignorance! Two of Sakuni's brothers, Vrsaka & Acala, rushed at Arjun piercing him with arrows. Arjun turned to meet his assailants & after killing Vrsaka's horses, he slaughtered 500 of the supporting Gandhara soldiers.
