Victory!

When Somdatta fell down on the floor of his chariot, his father Bāhilika, who was Pratipā’s son and thus Sāntanu’s brother, rushed to encounter the enemy. After showering arrows upon Sātyaki, he struck Bhima with a blazing spear, making him faint. Bhima quickly recovered & when he angrily retaliated by hurling his mace, it struck off Bāhilika’s head

Ten Dhārtarāshtrās then rushed at Bhima, but they immediately dispatched to the abode of Yamarāja by ten powerful arrows. Meanwhile Maharāj Yudhisthira fought very heroically killing a great number of warriors in Drona’s army. Duryodhana urged Drona to attack Yudhisthira & so the Preceptor discharged a Vayavya weapon at the Pāndava king. Yudhisthira neutralized this weapon with a similar weapon & so Drona angrily employed numerous celestial weapons, one after another with hope to kill him

Yudhisthira deftly neutralized them all & at last Drona invoked the Brahmāstra. Then, when Yudhisthira successfully neutralized the Supreme weapon with his own Brahmāstra, Drona gave up fighting with him and instead rushed at the Pāncāla army, making soldiers flee like deer from the attack of a lion

Soon thereafter, Bhima 7 Arjun rallied Pāncālas and mounted a great assault upon Drona’s army. This time, the Pāndavās slaughtered the Kaurava warriors with such vengeance that the entire army began to flee, despite Drona’s presence. Indeed, there was nothing the Preceptor could do to rally the soldiers & so Duryodhana went to Karna and pleaded with him to save the situation

Karna said: My dear King! I will now use my infallible dart to kill Arjun. After this is accomplished, it will be easy for me to vanquish the rest of the Pāndavās

Krpā was staying nearby & when he heard this, he smilingly said: O Karna, if words were sufficient, Duryodhana would have a very able protector, but it is practically seen that every time you fight with the Pāndavās, you are defeated. Thus it has already been proven that you are no match for them

My dear Karna, you brag too much, although this is done only when Arjun is absent

Karna angrily replied: O Preceptor! You should know that great heroes naturally boast while making a great vow. Such boasting is never fruitless & so I once again declare that very soon I will bestow the kingdom of earth upon Duryodhana after killing all the Pāndavās

Krpā derisively exclaimed: O Karna! You are speaking deliriously. He who has Sri Krsna & Arjun on his side will certainly come out victorious, come what may!!

Sanjay says in the last verse of Bhagvad Gita:

yatra yogeśvaraḥ kṛṣṇo yatra pārtho dhanur-dharaḥ
tatra śrīr vijayo bhūtir dhruvā nītir matir mama

Wherever there is Kṛṣṇa, the master of all mystics, and wherever there is Arjuna, the supreme archer, there will also certainly be opulence, victory, extraordinary power, and morality. That is my opinion

Bhagavad-gītā is the supreme instruction in morality. These instructions constitute the supreme process of religion and of morality. All other processes may be purifying and may lead to this process, but the last instruction of the Gītā is the last word in all morality and religion: surrender unto Kṛṣṇa, which is the highest perfection

Victory is certain for the devotees of the Supreme Lord, who are surrendered at His Lotus feet. There is not an iota of doubt

Do we? Thoughts? #gameoflife
