Eternal Savior!

Many Kaurav warriors rushed at Arjun from all sides & so he invoked an Aindra weapon that caused thousands of shining arrows to fill the entire sky, practically blinding those who gazed upon it. Indeed, it appeared as if the sky had become filled with innumerable blazing meteors. Due to the assault of this wonderful weapon, a great number of Kaurav warriors were killed

Arjun continued towards Jayadratha while piercing Asvattāma, Karna, Krpā & the others. In fact, Arjun very soon came close enough to begin showering his arrows upon the King of Sindh. In response, Jayadratha became highly enraged & so rushed to meet his assailant, greeting him with sharp arrows. With his adversary now close at hand, Arjun swelled with uncheckable prowess & quickly cut off the head of Jayadratha’s driver and knocked down his royal emblem

The sun was just about to set, however, and so Sri Krsna said: My dear arjun, you’ll never be able to kill Jayadratha without first vanquishing the six warriors protecting him. But, because there is no time for this, I will utilize My Yogamāyā potency to cover the Sun. This will make everyone think that the Sun has set so that Jayadratha will be overjoyed & no longer conceal himself behind his protectors. At that time, when Jayadratha is off guard, you must kill him, knowing that the Sun has not actually set

Arjun said: My dear Lord, I will execute whatever You order me to do

Sri Krsna who is also known as Yogesvara (the Lord of all mystic powers), created darkness prematurely by covering the Sun with his Yogamāyā potency, so that everyone thought the Sun had set. The Kaurava warriors became ecstatic, assuming that Arjun would have to give up his life by entering fire

Sri Krsna, then pointed out Jayadratha, who was happily looking forward to where the Sun had supposedly set. Sri Krsna urged: Now, Arjun, quickly cut-off the wicked Sindh ruler’s head with your arrow!

First Arjun pierced all the surrounding Kaurava warriors with numerous arrows & then he rushed at Jayadratha, causing his protectors to become momentarily puzzled. But then, after realizing what was happening, they began showering their arrows upon Arjun in the hopes of checking him. At that time Arjun blazed up with incredible energy & displayed superhuman skill, killing thousands of Kaurava warriors within a few moments

In a state of panic, the Kaurava army abandoned Jayadratha as Arjun proceeded to break Karna’s bow, kill Salya’s driver, deeply wounded Krpā & Asvattāma, and pierce Duryodhana and Vrsasena. Arjun then took out a wonderfully powerful arrow that had been worshipped by him with offerings of incense and flower garlands. As Arjun placed that arrow on his Gāndiva bow string, Sri Krsna urged: O Arjun, quickly cut off Jayadratha’s head, for the Sun is about to set

Krsna says in BGita:

mac-cittaḥ sarva-durgāṇi mat-prasādāt tariṣyasi
atha cet tvam ahaṅkārān na śroṣyasi vinaṅkṣyasi

If you become conscious of Me, you will pass over all the obstacles of conditioned life by My grace. If, however, you do not work in such consciousness but act through false ego, not hearing Me, you will be lost

Arjun says:

naṣṭo mohaḥ smṛtir labdhā tvat-prasādān mayācyuta
sthito ’smi gata-sandehaḥ kariṣye vacanaṁ tava

O infallible one, my illusion is now gone. I have regained my memory by Your mercy. I am now firm and free from doubt and am prepared to act according to Your instructions

If we act as per the instructions of the Supreme Lord, he is our eternal protector. He will find ways & means to help us when we are lost & in dire situations. Only He knows well what is good for us for spiritual elevation coupled with material benefits

Let’s have FAITH!
