Krsna’s plan!

Dronacharya rushed at Yudhisthira while challenging him not to flee from the battlefield out of fear. After breaking Yudhisthira’s bow, Drona rushed at him impetuously, hoping to seize him, but he was checked when the Pāncāla prince, Kumāra, who was protecting Yudhisthira’s chariot wheels, pierced him in the chest with numerous arrows

In retaliation Drona killed Kumāra. After driving away the other Pāndava warriors that tried to check him, Drona once again rushed at Yudhisthira. Virāta, Drupada, Sātyaki & many other valiant warriors surrounded Drona & yet the preceptor fought so heroically that he soon came very close to Yudhisthira’s chariot, making it appear as if the Pāndava king would surely be captured

Arjun suddenly appeared at the scene, afflicting the Kaurava army very severely with his arrows. The sun had already set & darkness was rapidly obscuring everything from view. Seeing the Kaurava warriors were fatigued & hard pressed, Drona decided to withdraw his army for the night & so Arjun also ordered the Pāndava army to retire

Back in the Kaurava camp, Drona went to Duryodhana. Feeling ashamed & dejected, he said: O King! It is impossible for me to capture Yudhisthira as long as he remains under Arjun’s protection. With Sri Krsna on his chariot, Arjun is absolutely unconquerable & thus someone must challenge him & lead him far away from his elder brother. Only if you arrange for this will I be able to fulfil my promise to capture Yudhisthira

Upon hearing this, Susarman volunteered to fight with Arjun along with his five brothers & the 20,000 Trigarta chariot warriors. These soldiers were known as samsaptakas, for they had vowed to either conquer or die in battle. To make their vow former, each samsaptaka warrior lit a sacrificial fire. Before the sacred fire, they promised to either kill Arjun or die on the battlefield without turning their backs

Twelfth day of the war will unfold tomorrow

We always hope that we can have our away against the wish of the Supreme Lord. All our plans come to a nought & the only thing which is certain is the directive and plan of Krsna, who resides in everyone’s heart as the Supersoul.

Krsna says:

upadraṣṭānumantā ca bhartā bhoktā maheśvaraḥ
paramātmeti cāpy ukto dehe ’smin puruṣaḥ paraḥ

Yet in this body there is another, a transcendental enjoyer, who is the Lord, the supreme proprietor, who exists as the overseer and permitter, and who is known as the Supersoul

Because the Paramātmā is the Supreme Lord, He is present within to sanction the individual soul’s desiring material enjoyment. Without the sanction of the Supreme Soul, the individual soul cannot do anything. The individual is bhukta, or the sustained, and the Lord is bhoktā, or the maintainer

Let’s not go against the Supreme Lord’s will but be part of His plan. We may have faults in our plan, but His plan is perfect. Even if we make mistakes, the Lord guides us from within for course correction

Krsna’s plan works always. Thoughts? #gameoflife
