Path-forward!
Fighting
fiercely, Krpā broke Cekitāna’s bow & killed his horses & driver. Cekitāna
picked up his mace & after jumping from his disabled chariot rushed at Krpā
with reckless abandon, killing his horses & driver. Krpā also jumped to
ground & as he proceeded to release volleys of arrows, Cekitāna hurled his
gigantic mace, hoping to kill his adversary. Krpā checked his mace’s progress
by discharging 1000’s of arrows. Upon seeing his attempt foiled, Cekitāna unsheathed
his sword
As
Cekitāna impetuously rushed at him, Krpā threw down his bow, unsheathed his
sword & ran to meet his assailant. When they met, Krpā & Cekitāna struck
one another simultaneously with their swords, causing both to fall on ground
unconscious, partly due to force of the blows & partly because of fatigue.
Karakarsa quickly came & picked up Cekitāna while Sakuni took Krpā away on
his chariot
When
3 of Dhritrāshtra’s sons rushed at Abhimanyu, the son of Subhadra soon deprived
them of their chariots. But keeping Bhima’s vow in mind, Abhimanyu refrained
from killing them. Bhisma rushed to aid Dhārtarāshtās & so Arjun urged
Krsna to take him to where Abhimanyu was staying. Susarmā & Trigartas came to
protect Bhisma, but Arjun quickly drove them off. While killing many of Trigarta
chariot warriors, Arjun advanced towards Bhisma & so other Pāndavās came to
assist him. As 5 brothers combinedly attacked Bhisma, Kaurava warriors showered
arrows upon them
Bhisma
broke Shikhandi’s bow, causing him to fearfully run away from the battle. Upon
seeing this, Yudhisthira chastised Shikhandi saying: O Prince! Have you
forgotten your vow to kill Bhism? Why are you acting like a coward, fleeing
your enemy? Arjun has come to attack the Grandsire & so you can be assured
of his protection
At
last Shikhandi took courage & returned to the fray, determined to kill
Bhisma. Bhisma broke Yudhisthira’s bow & knocked down his royal insignia.
Upon seeing how his elder brother had become overcome with fear, Bhima put down
his bow & picked up his mighty club. Getting down from his chariot, Bhima
rushed at Jayadratha, who was stationed nearby. Although the king of
Sindhudesha pierced the advancing Bhima with numerous arrows, the undaunted son
of Vāyu came right up to his chariot & killed his horses
Our
mind often is filled with fear about the future. So many questions are raised
traumatizing & paralyzing us
Fear
is a fundamental emotion of our existence, and the mind plays an important
part. As we don’t know the future, neither does our mind but it forecasts doom.
Rather than finding solutions to tackle uncertainty, it creates more uncertainty
with no plan to handle it, mongering fear
Handling
mind is best done by relying on someone who is a far better forecaster, the
Supreme controller Krsna. He is our greatest well-wisher & overseer of
everything that happens. He is present in our hearts & can give us intelligence
to face any situation in present or future
Do
we give-in to mind’s fears or heart’s faith in Supreme Lord? Thoughts? #gameoflife
