What valuable lessons for us
In Bhagvad Gita Krsna says: To those who are constantly devoted to serving Me with love, I give understanding by which they can come to me.
teṣāṁ satata-yuktānāṁ bhajatāṁ prīti-pūrvakam
dadāmi buddhi-yogaṁ taṁ yena mām upayānti te
The best steady intelligence hence is one that directs us to constantly stay on the path of going back home, back to Godhead. Such intelligence is certainly one’s best friend & saves from great danger of material attachments that will sink us deep into the mire of material existence & its accompanying miseries
Contentment is certainly not possible as long as one hankers for material possessions. When one is satisfied with whatever situation of life he finds himself in, he is contended
