Tolerate!

After Mudgala asked the celestial messengers, if they know of a place where having once gone, one never again comes back to this miserable earth, they said: O Brāhmanā, above the abode of Lord Brahmā is the eternal realm of Lord Vishnu, which is called the Param-dhāma of the Param Brahma, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Only persons who are completely freed from all material attachment can go there. This state of pure consciousness is achieved as perfection of Yoga

After hearing this, Mudgala bade them farewell. From that time on, he began engaged in meditation upon Lord Vishnu. As a result of spiritual advancement achieved by the practice of Yoga, Mudgala came to accept all material qualities with an equipoised mind. By seeing pebbles and gold as same, he became liberated from conditional existence & thus became indifferent to pleasure & pains of this material world

In that state of purified consciousness, he eventually gave up his mortal body while meditating upon the lotus feet of Lord Vishnu & thus at once attained Lord’s eternal abode, Vaikuntha

As Vyāsdev told this story to Yudhisthira, he said: Don’t take temporary conditions of happiness & distress, for one always follows the other. Besides, you can rest assured that because of your austerities, you’ll regain your kingdom after the 13th year of your exile. Have faith in my words & the power of righteousness. Give up your anxiety once & for all

Krsna says:

mātrā-sparśās tu kaunteya śītoṣṇa-sukha-duḥkha-dāḥ

āgamāpāyino ’nityās tāṁs titikṣasva bhārata

O son of Kuntī, the nonpermanent appearance of happiness and distress, and their disappearance in due course, are like the appearance and disappearance of winter and summer seasons. They arise from sense perception, O scion of Bharata, and one must learn to tolerate them without being disturbed

In the proper discharge of duty, one has to learn to tolerate nonpermanent appearances and disappearances of happiness and distress. One has to follow the prescribed rules and regulations of religious principles in order to rise up to the platform of knowledge, because by knowledge and devotion only can one liberate himself from the clutches of māyā (illusion)
