When we read Mahabharata, we need to understand the philosophical & devotional rationale of the message applicable to our life

We see so many characters making a wrong choice and learning about the same, gives us the anchor to internally correct ourselves, when we are in similar situations. We can connect easily with characters like the Pandavas, Kauravas, Dhritrashtra, Bhisma, Vidura, Drona, Jarasandha, Shalya & so many others and seeing the parallels is a source of intelligence for us to appreciate our situation

Lord Krsna lays the ground rules of Dharmic principles and its applicability as per time, place & circumstances. His focal message is that of connection rather than correction in most cases. He pushes us to connect us with our intelligence dovetailed to his lotus feet, to make sound decisions

Intelligence is a tool for thinking. It’s like a sword to cut through our confusions. Just as a sword-owner can fight more effectively by learning how to use the sword better, a person with intelligence can think more clearly by learning how to use their intelligence better

We also can help others by connecting them more with their intelligence through which explain the basis and process for sound decision-making. This helps to better make the present right choices with greater conviction & also make better future choices

Krsna also helps to understand our connection with the Supreme Lord. He guides everyone & helps to become devotionally connected with him. As he is sitting with us as Super-soul, its just a matter of turning around and see him face to face for self realization

Krsna says in BG 15,15

sarvasya cāhaṁ hṛdi sanniviṣṭo
mattaḥ smṛtir jñānam apohanaṁ ca
vedaiś ca sarvair aham eva vedyo
vedānta-kṛd veda-vid eva cāham

I am seated in everyone’s heart, and from Me come remembrance, knowledge and forgetfulness. By all the Vedas, I am to be known. Indeed, I am the compiler of Vedānta, and I am the knower of the Vedas

The Supreme Lord is situated as Paramātmā in everyone’s heart, and it is from Him that all activities are initiated. The living entity forgets everything of his past life, but he has to act according to the direction of the Supreme Lord, who is witness to all his work. Therefore he begins his work according to his past deeds

Required knowledge is supplied to him, and remembrance is given to him, and he forgets, also, about his past life. Thus, the Lord is not only all-pervading; He is also localized in every individual heart. He awards the different fruitive results

Our disposition is key towards our faith for him and helps us in our material & spiritual life

  Principles to fight & die for! Arjun had Uttara halt his chariot at some distance from Kaurav army to survey the opposition. He thought that if he could simply vanquish Duryodhana, other Kauravas would automatically desist. But he noted that Duryodhana was absent. Arjun ordered Uttara: Avoiding the Kaurav army, take the road to Hastināpur so that we can overtake Duryodhana and retrieve the plundered cows   From Arjun’s course, Krpā could understand his intention & so he had ordered the entire Kaurav army to go & protect Duryodhana.
