Review & feedback!

Rām further showed the places to Sitā from Pushpaka Vimāna & said-See the shining hermitage of Sutikshna, the great souled sage. There you can see hermitage of Rsi Sharabhanga, where the 1000-eyed Indra came. Sage can be seen performing rituals at the place of sage Atri, where we were fortunate to meet the virtuous Anusuya, his wife

You can see mount Chitrakuta, which is shining as ever. My brother Bharata came here to seek my favor & consent to return to Ayodhya. You can see beautiful Yamuna river, surrounded by colorful groves. Sage Bharadwaj’s illustrious hermitage can be seen on the banks. Here you can see holy river Ganga which flows in all 3 worlds (Heaven, Earth & Subterranean world), whose banks are crowded with flocks of birds & lined with flowering trees

Here is Shringaberapura town, where my friend Guha stays. River Sarayu, lined with rows of sacrificial posts ( relics of sacrifices made by the Ikshavaku dynasty), bordered with 100 of trees & groves in full blossom

O Sitā! Now we can see the capital city of my father, King Dasaratha. O Vaidehi! Having duly returned, let’s offer our salutations to Ayodhya. Seeing their beloved city, Rām Laxman & Sita’s eyes were flooded with tears and they paid humble obeisance

Seeing Ayodhya, Vānaras & other occupants of Pushpaka Vimāna rejoiced & jostled at the edge to catch a glimpse of the most wonderful city they have ever seen. They beheld Ayodhya, having rows of white palaces, intersected with wide roads, crowded with elephants & horses, resembling Amravati, the city of Indra and celestials

After completion of 14 years of his exile & on the 5th day of bright half of lunar month of Ashvayuja, Rām, who was disciplined in all aspects, first reached the hermitage of the sage Bharadwaja and offered his salutation to him. Having offered humble obeisance to the sage, who was rich in asceticism, Rām enquired about him & his wellbeing. He then humbly asked- Have you heard, O venerable one, about Ayodhya City? Does it have an abundance of food and is free from disease? Is Bharata attentive in his rule? I hope my mothers are still alive

Taking independent feedback about the state of affairs is one of the most important elements of management. Assessment from an uninvolved, impartial but knowledgeable person is value added for having 360-degree assessment. This can provide wealth of information about the situation & an honest view of all the stakeholders

Here Rām also shows us the way to follow the promises & respecting hierarchy. He first taking blessings from the revered sages and not rushing to meet his family although there is an intense desire to do so

Do we follow the principles or are swayed by the emotions?

Huge management lessons showing us the way
