Love & Freedom!

As commanded by Rām, Hanumān assumed human form & swiftly left. He flew with great speed crossing the conjunction of river Ganga & Yamuna. Reaching Shringaberapura, he approached Nishad King Guha & said-Along with Sitā & Laxman, your friend Rām, the scion of Kakustha, has enquired about your welfare. You can meet Rām here today, after he is duly permitted by Sage Bharadwaja. Guha’s eyes brightened & his hairs stood on end. He was in ecstasy as tears welled up in his eyes, hearing this news

Swift moving Hanumān sprang up again to go further. On way he saw Rāmtirtha, river Valukini, Varuthini & Gomati. He saw many people & numerous communities on the way. Hanumān then reached Nandigram, which surrounded by flowering trees looked beautiful like garden of Kubera. At a distance he saw Bharata living in a hermitage, with tree bark & skin of black antelope wrapped around his waist. Looking miserable & emaciated, wearing matted locks on head, his limbs coated with dirt, he was deeply afflicted by separation from his brother Rām

Bharata, subsisting on roots & fruits, with his senses subdued, engaged in austerities, protecting virtue, disciplined, his thoughts fixed on Supreme Spirit, with splendor equaling that of a Brahmanical sage. He was ruling the earth after placing the wooden sandals of Rām before him, protecting people belonging to 4 varnas from all perils & attended by upright ministers, priests, & commanders, clad in saffron robes. The citizens, fond of righteousness, were not willing to enjoy pleasures & ignored that prince clad in bark of trees

With palms joined in salutation, Hanumān said to Bharata, who seemed to be second Dharma clothed in a body of virtue-Rām, for whom you are repenting, residing as he was in the forest of Dandaka, wearing bark of trees & matted locks, has enquired about your welfare. I’m telling you a pleasant news. Give up this dreadful anguish. Within a while, you'll be meeting Rām

Having killed Rāvan & freeing Sitā, Rām is returning with his mighty friends after his purpose is duly accomplished. Laxman too, endowed with extraordinary energy, is coming, along with Sitā, princess of Videha

Hearing words of Hanumān, Kaikeyi’s son Bharata, felt delighted & sank all at once to ground, fainting in joy

In love, when people reciprocate on their own rather than being pushed or persuaded, that is the measure of its integrity & truth. Love is a bond that seems to curtail freedom but on the contrary, it actually fulfills freedom. People in love sacrifice some of their freedom & do things that pleases others and avoid doing things that displeases them. By doing so, each explores about himself, about the relationship & about others

In love, we show solidarity, selflessness, welfare for others happily without any persuasion. If things are done otherwise, then it's not fulfilling but nauseating

Love & freedom are complimentary. Harmonizing them gives a new dimension to relationships
