In bewilderment!

As Sitā entered blazing fire, a large gathering of people, saw the shining divine lady entering fire. Sitā glowing like fresh refined gold, decked with ornaments, plunged into blazing fire. All witnessed the extraordinary happening of wide eyed Sitā, looking like golden altar entering fire. The sages, celestials & Gandharvas, saw illustrious Sitā entering deep into fire as a sacred oblation of clarified butter

All the women who were present screamed on seeing her rushing into fire, like a gush of clarified butter plunging into sacrificial fire duly consecrated by Vedic hymns. The denizens of 3 worlds beheld her falling into fire, like a goddess subjected to a curse falling from heaven to hell

Hearing cries of those who were wailing, the virtuous minded Rām then became thoughtful for a while, afflicted as he was with melancholy & eyes filled with tears

Thereupon, Kubera the King of Yakshas, Yama the lord of death, Indra the lord of celestials, Varuna the lord of waters, Illustrious Shiva, Brahma the creator of all worlds & the best among knowers of sacred knowledge, all of them together reached Lankā in aerial cars, shining like Sun and approached Rām

Lifting their long arms, their hands decked with ornaments, those excellent gods after making a respectful salutation with his folded hands, said to Rām who stood there, -How do you, the maker of the entire cosmos, the foremost among those endowed with knowledge and an all-capable person, ignore Sitā, who is falling into fire? How do you not recognize yourself to be the foremost & master of all of us?

Among the Vasus, you are Ritadhama (one whose abode is truth & divine law) who was formerly self-constituted ruler, the first creator of all 3 worlds & lord of creatures. You are 8th Rudra among 11 Rudras & 5th (Viryavan by name) among Sadhyas. The twin Ashwinis are your ears. The Sun & Moon constitute your eyes. O destroyer of adversaries! You’re seen to exist at the beginning & at the end of creation, yet you ignore Sitā just like a common man. It’s beyond our comprehension but we have full belief in your decision. Pls explain

When we witness something extraordinary, which is beyond our comprehension & understanding, we should not raise questions but should humbly seek explanations. We should carefully make choices in such situations which can radically alter life trajectories. Things can be so complex & bewildering that we end up confused about our inference and blame others negating the reality

When we practice devotion, while still functioning in this world, bombarded with challenges and making difficult decisions, we are guided by the Supreme Lord within our hearts. Buddhi-yoga means, Buddhi (Intelligence) which connotes to the faculty that enables us to discern and decide & yoga connotes in its etymological essence the act of yoking or connecting or harmonizing to the Supreme Lord. With this we get answers to complex questions & situations
