💪Impose or explain⁉


On Rām’s request to return to Ayodhya soonest, Vibhishana said-O Rām of unequalled prowess! The aerial chariot, which is shines like Sun, which moves as one pleases, is wonderful and excellent, is named Pushpaka, which belongs to Kubera, is at your service. It was robbed by mighty Rāvan after conquering Kubera in battle. It is now retained for your sake


The Pushpaka Vimāna, looks like cloud & is a transport by which you can reach Ayodhya without any trouble and in no time. But O sagacious prince! If I deserve to be treated with kindness by you, If you think there is any virtue in me, if you have any affection for me, stay here for some time. I would like to serve you, Laxman & Sita with whatever little I have at my disposal & offer myself. You may then depart for Ayodhya


Pls accept, with your entire army & assembly of friends, my hospitality, which has been arranged by me with care. I entreat you with affection, respect & friendship. But I’m your servant & am not in any way commanding to do so


Hearing these words, Rām replied to Vibhishana as all demons & Vānaras were present-O king of demons! I stand honored by you & your valued counsel, your efforts put forth with your soul & by your friendship. It’s not that I’m not carrying out your words, but my heart is hastening to see my brother Bharata. My heart is longing to see him, who had come all the way to Mount Chitrakuta to take me back to Ayodhya, yet whose earnest appeal was not executed by me even though he requested me with his head bent low


My mothers Kaushalya, Sumitra & illustrious Keikeyi, my friend Guha, as well as citizens of Ayodhya & inhabitants of countryside, all came to me to take me back to Ayodhya. Pls allow me to go. I’m honored with your invite but don’t be disappointed, I entreat you to understand me. How is it advisable for my continued stay here now that my task has been accomplished? I have promised Bharata to return on completion of 14 years & the time has come to keep the promise


Pls fetch Pushpaka chariot immediately & allow me to leave, my humble request


What humility together with genuine expression of feeling. It is very important to explain ourselves & our position to others to clarify the decision we make, to avoid disappointment & apprehensions


Humility means not to make others feel undervalued or under-recognized. Wanting some recognition & reciprocation is an understandable human longing. When people who love us are not reciprocated appropriately, it becomes disempowering & disappointing for them. Humility helps us remember our identity &, purpose together with others too. This is to value all, appreciate their emotions & finding synergy implement a way out

  Make or break!   When Salya agreed to drive Karna’s chariot only on condition that he must be allowed to speak freely whatever he likes, Duryodhana and Karna readily agreed & thus a contract was made. Duryodhana flattered Salya by comparing him to Lord Brahmā, who formerly became Shiva’s charioteer at the time of destroying Tripura   Duryodhana concluded his long talk by saying: Dear Salya, Parasurāma delivered the entire science of weapons to Karna.   Krsna’s plan!   As Asvattāma asked Krpa about what happened to his father Drona, with great anguish Krpa said: My dear Asvattāma, your father was killed by Dhrishtadyumna. Knowing Drona to be invincible as long as he would wield his weapons, Sri Krsna ordered Yudhisthira to falsely inform him of your death.
