✨Success✨
Valiant Rām, who was reminded by Matāli to use Brahmāstra to kill Rāvan, took hold of that blazing arrow which was given by Brahmā & which in turn was given by the glorious sage Agastya to him earlier in the battlefield. The arrow looked like a hissing serpent & had an aura of invincibility
The weapon of infinite strength was made formerly for Indra-the lord of celestials, by Brahmā, the lord of creation. It was bestowed in the past to the ruler of gods, desirous of conquering the three worlds. In its feathers, wind was established & at its end point were the fire & Sun. It was as heavy as Mount Mandar & Meru & its shaft was made of ether. Covered with gold, the body of the arrow was shining & it was made up of the efficacy of all elements including the illuminating power of Sun
Blazing like a fire at the time of universal dissolution, the weapon enveloped in smoke & looking like a venomous snake, was swift in action & capable of bursting hosts of men, elephants, and horses. It had effectiveness of a thunder bolt, loud sounding which can tear off armies of adversaries in many battles & create fears for all, like a hissing serpent. It was giving perennial feed to vultures, eagles, cranes, troops of jackals and demons in the battlefield, possessing a form of Yama, the lord of Death
Making it sacred by a special chant as per the procedure specified in scriptures, Rām endowed with an extraordinary strength, then fixed that arrow, which was foremost among the 3 worlds, capable of removing the fear of Ikshvaku dynasty, taking away the glory of the enemies and bestowing joy to one's own self, on his bow. While the excellent arrow was being fixed by Rām, all the beings were frightened, & earth trembled
Enraged Rām, stretching his bow well & with an attentive mind, hurled that arrow, which can tear off the vitals, towards Rāvan. That arrow, which was inviolable as a thunderbolt hurled by the arms of Indra & irresistible, fell upon Rāvan's chest. Released with great speed & capable of destroying the body, it tore off the heart of evil-minded Rāvan. After taking away the life of Rāvan & anointed with blood, it penetrated the earth. After accomplishing its mission, the arrow re-entered its own quiver (of Rām) silently
There was silence before the huge victory cry from the Vānar army & all who witnessed this event from the skies🌟. An event which looked impossible for all the three worlds to achieve
Definition of success is not how much material opulence we can get & consume. It is how much we can contribute constructively to the world. It's our endeavor to make a positive difference for welfare in other's lives
Rām had made a promise to the sages at Dandakaranya that he will alleviate their pain, their suffering and bring respite from the torture & persecution by demons happening for so long. This was the sole purpose for him to leave Ayodhya & save the world from Rāvan’s atrocities
What is our definition of success? Thought? #gameoflife
