Will to fightšŸ¹

Mighty Kumbhakarna sallied forth from Lankā, emitting a roar, making sea to reverberate, causing mountain to break & drowning thunderclaps. Seeing the colossal figure, Vānar army ran away but Angad addressed them thro’ generals Nala, Nila Gavaksha & Kumuda & said-Don’t leave battlefield forgetting your own identities & noble birth. Don't tremble with fear like ordinary beings. Come back & fight, as this demon is mere toy of terror & is not competent to tackle your prowess

Reconciling themselves with difficulty, Vānaras assembled at a place and attacked Kumbha with all their might. Despite being assaulted with lofty boulders & uprooted trees, Kumbha stood unshaken. Many rocks falling on his limbs were shattered into pieces & trees turned into splinters. He crushed ranks of Vānaras as rising fire consumes wood. Many of foremost Vānaras lay on ground, bathed in blood. As fear crept in army, Angad again bolstered their morale to stand up for resistance & give tough fight to the monster

Determined to die, Vānar troops again marched forward & ran briskly towards Kumbha, who lifted a mace & diffused them on all sides. 1000’s of Vānaras were struck in one go & lay scattered. Enraged Kumbha put in his mouth 20~30 Vānaras together & devoured them like Garuda devours serpents. Dvivida, the foremost Vānar threw a mountain peak on Kumbha but it didn’t reach him & fell on his army, crushing them. From sky Hanumān showered huge rocks on Kumbha’s head, but he shattered it all with his mace

As Kumbha raced to attack Vānaras again with his mace, Hanumān came in way & struck him with huge tree, causing him to stumble. Undeterred Kumbha struck Hanumān on chest with his spike, causing blood to splutter out from his mouth. Kumbha then engulfed all valiant Vānar generals & defeated them one by one. Seeing their mighty commanders on ground, 1000’s of Vānaras attacked Kumbha with their nails, fists & arms. Covered by them, Kumbha looked like a hill overgrown with trees. He devoured, mutilated, and killed them & earth was dampened with blood & flesh all over

Facing destruction at hands of Kumbha, Vānaras sought refuge of Rām with distressed minds. Meanwhile Angad attacked Kumbha but was no match to his strength. Sugriva seeing this jumped in front & said-You’re a great warrior. Leave my army & fight with me. Sugriva held a mountain top & ran towards Kumbha

We all face challenges in our life, and it may feel that sometimes we’re not equipped to face them & thus become disheartened losing our will to fight. If we lack in ability, that could be the limitation, as despite making best efforts, we may still not be up to mark to face life’s challenges & lose out to some things

This may dent our ego but what will be more detrimental to our morale is if we lack will. If we cave in & give up on the challenges, this failure will torment us for life, demolish our fighting spirit, our self-confidence, our faith

Don’t compromise on that! Thoughts? #gameoflife
