Sarama further consoled Sitā & said-Rām along with his army of Vānaras, having crossed ocean, has reached southern shore & is encamped there. Along with Laxman, he stands protected by troops

Rāvan hearing this news just left hurriedly & is making deliberations with all his ministers to tackle this dire situation

While Sarama was talking, a terrific sound of crashing kettle drums was heard from troops engaged in impending war. Listening to it, Sarama in her sweet voice said-This frightful sound is indeed indicative of preparations of war. Elephants in rut are being caparisoned for war, chariot horses are being prepared & horsemen carrying darts are seen. Thousands of soldiers equipped with armor are marching quickly hither & thither. Royal highways are filled with warriors like a swift flowing sea making a roaring sound. This means neither Rām nor any of his associates are harmed & instead are preparing to attack Lankā

Hear sound of bells of elephants. ratting of chariots. cry of neighing horses resembling flourish of trumpets. Here is the bustle of demons, carrying uplifted weapons in their hands, following Rāvan. This bustling activity is causing hair to stand erect through terror

A good fortune, which will bring your sorrow to an end, awaits you. A peril has arrived for demons. The lotus eyed Rām, your husband of unimaginable strength will kill Rāvan in battle and win you back

Rām along with Laxman will show their valor against demons, like Indra the lord of celestials along with Vishnu the lord of preservation & the annihilator of enemies exhibit their strength over adversaries. Very soon, I shall see you, together with Rām , who has actually arrived per your expectations. You will shed tears of joy on the bosom of broad-chested Rām, re- united with you and holding you clasped to his breast. Seeing his face, looking like a rising moon, you’ll renounce your tears born of grief, like a female snake casts off its slough

Acclaimed by the high soled Rām, you will be so happy like earth, endowed with crops, feels after onset of good rains

Seek refuge now in him!

Sitā smiled & wiped her tears of distress and her eyes filled again with tears of joy!

What’s more human than experiencing grief, sadness & sorrow. When we lose people, things or are not in control of situations, we feel depressed but the key to fight & conquer it lies in our faith on the Supreme Lord & surrendering to him for his guidance

The path that meets with spirituality is good in such situations. Stop feeling sad & satisfy your inner warmth. Everything is temporary except the Supreme Lord, so imbibe him to conquer phase of sadness

  Make or break!   When Salya agreed to drive Karna’s chariot only on condition that he must be allowed to speak freely whatever he likes, Duryodhana and Karna readily agreed & thus a contract was made. Duryodhana flattered Salya by comparing him to Lord Brahmā, who formerly became Shiva’s charioteer at the time of destroying Tripura   Duryodhana concluded his long talk by saying: Dear Salya, Parasurāma delivered the entire science of weapons to Karna. Grudge-The heaviest thing to hold! Asvattāma hurriedly yoked horses to his chariot & set out, as Krpa & Krtvarma anxiously followed him. He soon arrived at Pāndava camp & saw a gigantic being with enormous head with flames emanating from his eyes, nose, ear & mouth   Asvattāma fearlessly attacked that awesome being with his celestial weapons but failed in all his attempt. He thought to himself: Krpa had warned me that persons who don’t listen to their elders must lament later. The frustration of my attempt must be due to its inherently sinful nature.
