Rām, the conqueror of enemies, wielded a bow and sallied forth in front, facing Lanka. All the excellent Vānaras, together with Vibhishana & Sugriva making roaring sounds surged forth to destroy the audacious enemy. Rām, seeing this was pleased by the acts & gestures of all & blessed them

The army of Vānaras together with their king looked charming like a full moon night in autumn presided over by the moon & illuminated by bright stars. The earth pressed under their energetic feet, trembled with fear by their rapid movement. Then all heard a great tumult arising in Lankā, with noisy sounds of kettledrums, which caused their hair to stand on end. The leaders roared surpassing the tumultuous sound. The demons heard the roar of the wildly delighted Vānaras which resembled thundering of the clouds

Rām seeing Lankā dressed in multi-colored flags & buntings, thought of Sitā & his heart was filled with grief. Sitā, whose eyes resembled those of a young deer, was detained by Rāvan there, as Rohini Star is overshadowed by the red planet Mars. Seeing Laxman, with a warm & deep sigh, Rām said-Look at this Lankā, which is constructed on a hilltop by Vishwakarma with his imagination and scrapping the sky. The city is constructed densely with many seven storied buildings & appears like abode of Vishnu covered with white clouds

Lankā is made beautiful by the gardens vying with Chaitratha (garden of Kubera), filled with songs of birds, fruits bearing flowers & charms in bloom. See how a gentle breeze sways the branches where the cuckoos abound, bees swarm & birds are excited with joy

Rām said to Laxman-The enemy army is divided into battalions & arranged in array according to the procedure found in scriptures. Let Angada take up the position along with Nila at the center of the formation of the army. Rishabha takes the right side, Gandhamadana the left side. I shall stand alert in the forefront of the army along with you. Let Jāmbavan, Sushena & Vegadarshi be at the belly of the army. Sugriva protect the rear with his splendor & valor

The army with innumerable divisions, thus skillfully distributed, led by the foremost Vānaras resembled heavens with their mass of clouds

Leadership is in action, not in position.Leader leads from front & takes up responsibility to take care of each & every aspect of the team. A good leader inspires an average team to reach the zenith, but a bad leader can take good employees, destroy them, causing them to flee & the ones who remain, loose all motivation

The most powerful tool of a leader is to walk the talk & set own personal example
