Let there be Light⚡

Demon king Rāvan was stupefied seeing sea of Vānaras looking boundless & intolerable. He said to his minister Sarana-Which Vānaras are important among them? Who are valiant & strong? To whom Sugriva hears & who are his generals? Tell me all

Sarana said-Valiant one who holds his arms high, tramples earth under his feet as he marches, whose face is turned towards Lankā, who in fury is knitting his brows, resembles mountain-peak in stature, who in excess of anger lashes out his tail-the swish of which is heard ten yojanas far, is prince Angad, challenging you in battle. He's worthy son of Vāli & very dear to Sugriva. It's all due to Angad’s design that Sitā was found by Hanumān. He along with innumerable chiefs has come to crush you

Standing next to Angada, is Nala, creator of the bridge across ocean. These excellent Vānaras, numbering a hundred thousand crore and eight lakhs, lodged in sandalwood groves, yelling in lion’s roar, have stiffened their limbs and are knitting their eyebrows in anger. They are terrific, having ferocious zeal to smash Lankā into smithereens

Vānara called Sweta of silver hue, quick witted & of terrific prowess, warrior of three worlds is ready to pounce on us. Vānara called Kumuda from mountain Ramya on the banks of river Gomati, is the leader of lakhs and yearns to fight & destroy Lankā

General Rambha, resembles a tawny lion with a long mane, is staring at Lankā as if he will consume it with his eyes. Three thousand crores of excellent Vānaras surround him & is marching ahead towards us. The one who is yawning & shaking his ears does not have fear of death & never retreats from battle, is Sarabha. All his one lakh & forty thousand army chiefs called Viharas are strong. There is General named Panasa, who is like a great cloud, always invincible in battle commanding 55 lakh units. There is chief Vinata who resembles Dardura mountain is positioned in front & Krantha is inviting you for battle with 70 lakhs Vānaras

All these commanders & chiefs are difficult to be conquered & their number is hard to be counted

Rāvan interrupted Sarana-Are you informing details or praising enemy. I'm the best amongst all & cannot be cowed down by these lowly Vānaras & their commanders. They will be annihilated just by my glance & cannot take Sitā away from me

When false ego reigns supreme, darkness fills heart & one cannot see light of truth & knowledge. Intelligence is immediate next-door neighbor of spirit soul. Lusty intelligence influences spirit soul to acquire false ego & identifies itself with matter, & thus with whims of mind & senses. It thus gets bewildered in not discriminating between what is good & what bad, leading to destruction

Material desires are based on false ego & are exhibited by childish & useless activities

Let us light the lamp of real ego that we are part & parcel of Supreme Lord, which cleanses our heart & blesses us in path of righteousness & purity

Happy Deepawali to all! #gameoflife
